🔹 भारचुक्की प्रपात बंगलौर से 130 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित हैं। वास्तव में यह जल प्रपात शिवनासमुद्रम प्रपात की ही हिस्सा है।

🔹 दवी नदी महानदी के एक प्रमुख शाखा है, यह ओडिशा में बहने के बाद बंगाल की खाड़ी में गिरती है।

🔹 मक्का की फसल विश्व के विभिन्न भौलोगोक क्षेत्रों में उगाई जाती है, इसमें विटामिन ए, सी, ई और कार्बोहाइड्रेट्स प्रचुर मात्रा में पाए जाते हैं। यह आवश्यक पोषक तत्वों  तथा उर्जा का एक अच्छा स्त्रोत है।

🔹 सकोश नदी उत्तरी भूटान से निकलती है, असम में यह नदी ब्रह्मपुत्र में सम्मिलित हो जाती है। यह नदी असम और अरुणाचल प्रदेश  के बीच सीमा का निर्माण करती है।

🔹 पीर पंजाल श्रेणी आंतरिक हिमालय में स्थित है। यह पूर्व पश्चिम की ओर हिमाचल प्रदेश और जम्मू-कश्मीर व पाकिस्तान अधिकृत कश्मीर में   स्थित है। इसकी ऊंचाई 1400 मीटर से 4,100   मीटर की बीच है।

🔹 भारत में अधिकतर उष्णकटिबंधीय पर्णपाती वन पाए जाते हैं, इन्हें मानसून वन भी कहा जाता है। यह वन 70 से 200 सेंटीमीटर वर्षा वाले क्षेत्रों में पाए जाते हैं। इन वनों में चन्दन, शीशम, महुआ, साल, टीक व बांस के वृक्ष पाए जाते हैं।

🔹 जर्मनी के राईनहोल्ड मेसनेर ने 1978 में पीटर हाबेलेर के साथ बिना ऑक्सीजन के माउंट एवेरेस्ट पर चढ़ाई की थी। वे समुद्रतल से 8,000 मीटर से अधिक ऊंचाई वाली सभी पर्वतों पर चढ़ाई करने वाले पहले व्यक्ति हैं।

🔹 भारत पूर्ण रूप से भूमध्य रेखा के उत्तर में 8°4 से 37°6 अक्षांश और 68°7 से 25 पूर्वी देशांतर पर स्थित है।

🔹 काचिन पहाड़ियां म्यांमार के सुदूर उत्तर-पूर्व काचिन राज्य में स्थित हैं, यह भारत और म्यांमार के बीच सीमा का निर्माण करती हैं। यह पहाड़ी अरुणाचल प्रदेश के साथ लगती है।

 Bharchukki Falls is located 130 km from Bangalore.  Actually this waterfall is a part of Shivanasamudram Falls.

 The oil refinery is located in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.  This oil refinery was established in the year 2011 by Bharat Oman Refineries Limited.

 The Davi River is a major branch of the Mahanadi, it drains into the Bay of Bengal after flowing into Odisha.

 The crop of maize is grown in different geographical regions of the world, it is rich in vitamins A, C, E and carbohydrates.  It is a good source of essential nutrients and energy.

 The Sakosh river originates from northern Bhutan, in Assam this river joins the Brahmaputra.  This river forms the boundary between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

 The Pir Panjal range is located in the inner Himalayas.  It is situated in Himachal Pradesh towards east west and Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.  Its altitude ranges from 1400 m to 4,100 m.

 Mostly tropical deciduous forests are found in India, they are also called monsoon forests.  These forests are found in areas with 70 to 200 cm of rainfall.  Sandalwood, shisham, mahua, sal, teak and bamboo trees are found in these forests.

 Germany's Reinhold Messner climbed Mount Everest without oxygen in 1978 with Peter Habeler.  He is the first person to climb all the mountains above 8,000 meters above sea level.

 India is completely located north of the equator at 8°4 to 37°6 latitude and 68°7 to 25 east longitude.

 The Kachin Hills are located in the far north-east of Myanmar, in the Kachin State, they form the border between India and Myanmar.  This hill shares with Arunachal Pradesh.
