एनसीसी के महानिदेशक ने एनसीसी की 73वीं वर्षगांठ के समारोह का उद्घाटन किया और राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक पर पूरे एनसीसी बिरादरी के नायकों को श्रद्धांजलि दी।
एनसीसी के बारे में:
एनसीसी दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा वर्दीधारी संगठन है।
इसका गठन 1948 के राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर अधिनियम द्वारा किया गया था और यह विश्वविद्यालय अधिकारी प्रशिक्षण कोर का उत्तराधिकारी था जिसे 1942 में अंग्रेजों द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था।
एनसीसी का गठन पंडित एचएन कुंजरू की अध्यक्षता में एक समिति की सिफारिश पर किया गया था।
यह थल सेना, नौसेना और वायु विंग में छात्रों की स्वैच्छिक भागीदारी के लिए स्कूलों और कॉलेजों के लिए खुला है।
NCC का नेतृत्व महानिदेशक करते हैं जो थ्री-स्टार रैंक का अधिकारी होता है और इसका मुख्यालय दिल्ली में होता है।
एनसीसी अधिकारियों के कैडेटों और सहयोगियों ने एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत, आत्मानिर्भर भारत, फिट इंडिया, स्वच्छता अभियान जैसे कार्यक्रमों में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेकर महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
उन्होंने डिजिटल साक्षरता, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस, वृक्षारोपण और COVID-19 टीकाकरण अभियान के बारे में जागरूकता लाने में भी मदद की।
लक्ष्य:
चरित्र, साहस, कामरेडशिप, अनुशासन, नेतृत्व, धर्मनिरपेक्ष दृष्टिकोण, साहस और खेल भावना के गुणों का विकास करना।
एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक के रूप में निस्वार्थ सेवा की भावना को बढ़ावा देना।

About NCC: The NCC is the largest uniformed organization in the world. It was formed by the National Cadet Corps Act of 1948 and it was the successor of the University Officers Training Corps which was established by the British in 1942. The NCC was formed on the recommendation of a committee headed by Pandit H.N. Kunzru. It is open to schools and colleges for voluntary participation students in Army, the Navy and the Air wing. NCC is headed by the Director General who is an officer of three-star rank and headquartered in Delhi. The cadets and associates of NCC officers played pivotal roles by actively participating in programs such as Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Fit India, Swachhta Abhiyan. They also facilitated bringing awareness about Digital literacy, International Yoga day, Tree plantations and COVID-19 vaccination drive. Aims: To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship.
