3) हाल ही में निकोबार द्वीप समूह से एक परजीवी फूल वाले पौधे की एक नई प्रजाति की खोज की गई है।
➨ परजीवी फूल वाले पौधों में पेड़ के तने पर फैली एक संशोधित जड़ संरचना होती है और मेजबान पेड़ की छाल के अंदर लंगर डाले जाते हैं।
4) सिक्योरिटी प्रिंटिंग एंड मिंटिंग कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड (एसपीएमसीआईएल) ने अपनी आधुनिकीकरण पहल के तहत करेंसी नोट प्रेस, नासिक और बैंक नोट प्रेस, देवास में प्रत्येक में 'नई बैंक नोट प्रिंटिंग लाइन' स्थापित की है।
5) महान घुड़दौड़ प्रशिक्षक राशिद रुस्तमजी बायरामजी (88 वर्ष) का बेंगलुरु में निधन हो गया।
➨ उन्होंने मई 1955 में RWITC से 21 वर्ष की आयु में अपने प्रशिक्षक का लाइसेंस प्राप्त किया और मार्च 2017 में बैंगलोर शीतकालीन सत्र के अंत में सेवानिवृत्त हुए।
6) मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पर कोविड -19 महामारी के प्रभाव को स्वीकार करते हुए, वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने घोषणा की कि केंद्र एक राष्ट्रीय टेली मानसिक स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम शुरू करेगा।

11) वर्तमान में प्रचलन में पारंपरिक मुद्रित पासपोर्ट के उन्नयन की घोषणा करते हुए, सरकार ई-पासपोर्ट जारी करेगी, जो वित्तीय वर्ष 2022-23 में व्यक्ति की पहचान को सत्यापित करने के लिए रेडियो-फ्रीक्वेंसी आइडेंटिफिकेशन (RFID) और बायोमेट्रिक्स का उपयोग करेगी।
12) वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण द्वारा संसद में पेश किए गए आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण 2021-22 के अनुसार, दिल्ली ने बेंगलुरु को भारत की स्टार्टअप राजधानी के रूप में बदल दिया है।
➨अप्रैल 2019 से दिसंबर 2021 के बीच दिल्ली में 5,000 से अधिक मान्यता प्राप्त स्टार्ट-अप जोड़े गए, जबकि बेंगलुरु में 4,514 स्टार्ट-अप जोड़े गए।

1) The Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary near Jamnagar in Gujarat and Bakhira Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttar Pradesh have been listed as Wetlands of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention, an international treaty for the conservation and sustainable use of wetlands.

3) A new genus of a parasitic flowering plant has recently been discovered from the Nicobar group of islands.
➨ The parasitic flowering plants have a modified root structure spread on the stem of the tree and are anchored inside the bark of the host tree.
4) Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), under its modernization initiatives, has set up 'new bank note printing lines' each at Currency Note Press, Nashik and Bank Note Press, Dewas.
5) Legendary racehorse trainer Rashid Rustomji Byramji (88 years) passed away at Bengaluru.

6) Recognising the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on mental health, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the Centre will be launching a National Tele Mental Health program.
