➠आयरिश सहायता एजेंसी कंसर्न वर्ल्डवाइड और जर्मन संगठन वेल्ट हंगर हिल्फ़ द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से तैयार की गई रिपोर्ट में भारत में भूख के स्तर को "खतरनाक" बताया गया है, जिसका जीएचआई स्कोर 2000 में 38.8 से घटकर 2012 और 2021 के बीच 28.8 - 27.5 के बीच हो गया।
2) केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने रक्षा मंत्रालय के तहत सैनिक स्कूल सोसायटी के साथ सरकारी और निजी क्षेत्रों में शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2022-23 से 100 स्कूलों की संबद्धता को मंजूरी दी।

1) India has slipped to the 101st position among 116 countries in the Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2021 from its 2020 ranking (94), to be placed behind Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal.
➠The report, prepared jointly by Irish aid agency Concern Worldwide and German organisation Welt Hunger Hilfe, mentioned the level of hunger in India as “alarming” with its GHI score decelerating from 38.8 in 2000 to the range of 28.8 – 27.5 between 2012 and 2021.
2) The Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved the affiliation of 100 schools from the academic year 2022-23 in government and private sectors with Sainik School Society under the Ministry of Defence.

17) India was re-elected to the U.N. Human Rights Council for the 2022-24 term with an overwhelming majority in the General Assembly.
➠ India got 184 votes in the 193-member assembly, while the required majority was 97.
➠The 76th UN General Assembly held elections for 18 new members of the U.N. Human Rights Council who will serve for a period of three years, starting in January 2022.
18) Indian captain Sunil Chhetri broke legendary footballer Pele's record during a match against the Maldives in the ongoing 2021 SAFF Championship
➠ Pele had 77 goals for Brazil, and Chhetri surpassed the Brazilian legend in the 62nd minute of the encounter against the Maldives.
19) UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that the seven aspirational districts in the state had figured in the list of top 10 in the national July-August 2021 “delta ranking”.

➠ “Delta ranking” is a ranking done by NITI Aayog of all the 112 aspirational districts in the country and the ranking rates incremental progress made by these districts in various development areas.
