1) तैराक माना पटेल टोक्यो ओलंपिक के लिए क्वालीफाई करने वाली पहली महिला और तीसरी भारतीय तैराक बनीं।

➨ श्रीहरि नटराज और साजन प्रकाश के सीधे प्रवेश के लिए क्वालीफाई करने के बाद वह टोक्यो खेलों में तीसरी भारतीय तैराक होंगी।

➨भारतीय महिला तैराक माना पटेल के टोक्यो ओलंपिक में भाग लेने की पुष्टि 'यूनिवर्सिटी कोटा' के जरिए हो गई है।

2) वरिष्ठ भारतीय विदेश सेवा (IFS) अधिकारी और अनुभवी राजनयिक रीनत संधू को विदेश मंत्रालय (MEA) में सचिव (पश्चिम) के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है और उन्होंने वरिष्ठ नौकरशाह विकास स्वरूप से पदभार संभाला है, जो 30 जून को सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे।

1) Swimmer Maana Patel became the first female and third Indian swimmer to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.

➨ She will be the third Indian swimmer at Tokyo Games after Srihari Nataraj and Sajan Prakash qualified to secure direct entries.

➨Indian woman swimmer Maana Patel's participation in the Tokyo Olympics has been confirmed through 'Universality quota'.

2) Senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer and seasoned diplomat Reenat Sandhu has been appointed as Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and she took over the charge from senior bureaucrat Vikas Swarup, who retired on June 30.

3) Taking forward the activities and programmes of National Horticulture Board, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India opened centre in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
