दिल्ली के सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने स्वच्छ वाहनों के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए आज 'दिल्ली स्विच' अभियान शुरू किया। उन्होंने लोगों से शहर में प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए ऐसे वाहन खरीदने की अपील की। इस कार्यक्रम में बोलते हुए, उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी सरकार का दृष्टिकोण 2024 तक 25% नए वाहनों का इलेक्ट्रिक होना चाहिए। उन्होंने 'दिल्ली स्विच' अभियान में यह बात कही।

भारत में अपनी तरह का पहला 'एमुटी क्लिनिक', चंडीगढ़ के एक प्रमुख चिकित्सा और शोध संस्थान, पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च (PGIMER) द्वारा लॉन्च किया गया है।

भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स लिमिटेड (भेल) ने 2x800 मेगावाट गाडरवारा सुपर थर्मल पावर प्रोजेक्ट स्टेज-एल की दूसरी इकाई (800 मेगावाट) का सफलतापूर्वक कमीशन किया है। बीएचईएल ने सुपरक्रिटिकल बॉयलरों के 24 सेट और सुपरक्रिटिकल टर्बाइन जनरेटर के 20 सेटों को चालू किया है।

संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका ने रूस के साथ परमाणु हथियार नियंत्रण संधि न्यू स्ट्रेट (सामरिक शस्त्र न्यूनीकरण संधि) को पांच साल के लिए बढ़ा दिया है। इस कदम की घोषणा करते हुए अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री एंटनी ब्लिंकन ने कहा कि इसने दुनिया को सुरक्षित बना दिया है। यह संधि, जो पहली बार 2011 में लागू हुई थी, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका और रूस को 1,550 से अधिक रणनीतिक परमाणु युद्ध तैनात करने के लिए सीमित करता है और उन्हें वितरित करने के लिए भूमि और पनडुब्बी-आधारित मिसाइलों और हमलावरों पर प्रतिबंध लगाता है।

जनवरी 2021 में यूनिफाइड पेमेंट इंटरफेस में 4.3 ट्रिलियन रुपये के 2.3 बिलियन लेनदेन दर्ज किए गए। एक साल-दर-साल आधार पर, यूनिफाइड पेमेंट इंटरफेस का लेनदेन मूल्य 76.5 प्रतिशत बढ़ा। जबकि लेनदेन मूल्य लगभग 100 प्रतिशत उछल गया। पहले एक अरब UPI लेनदेन प्रति माह पार करने में 3 साल लगते थे लेकिन अगला बिल एक साल से भी कम समय में आ गया था।

🧭US extends New START Nuclear Arms Control Treaty with Russia for five years
United States has extended the New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) nuclear arms control treaty with Russia for five years. Announcing the move, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said it made the world safer. The treaty, which first went into effect in 2011, limits the United States and Russia to deploying no more than 1,550 strategic nuclear warheads each and imposes restrictions on the land- and submarine-based missiles and bombers to deliver them.

The Unified Payment Interface recorded 2.3 billion transactions worth Rs 4.3 trillion rupees in January 2021. On a Year-on-year basis, The Unified Payment Interface's transaction value jumped 76.5 per cent; while transaction value jumped nearly 100 per cent. First one billion UPI transactions per month took 3 years to cross but the next billion had come in less than a year.
