1.  Travel plans of hundreds of passengers went haywire on Friday after IndiGo flights from the city to Goa, Hyderabad and Mumbai were cancelled.

Flights on the Vadodara-Goa-Vadodara and Vadodara-Hyderabad routes were cancelled on Friday due to a technical problem with an aircraft.

10.  Telangana State Election Commission has opened a ‘Grievance Module’ in the wake of Gam Panchayat Elections in the state for people lodging their grievances, if any. The option has been created on its website – https://tsec.gov.in/home.do. People have to register before lodging the grievance, the progress of which can be tracked.

11.  India will soon inaugurate the National Coral Reef Research Institute (NCRRI) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, marking a major step in advancing marine conservation and climate resilience. 

12.  Assam Legislative Assembly  passed the Assam Fixation of Ceiling on Land Holdings (Amendment) Bill,  2025, in the State Assembly to provide land settlement to tea garden workers residing in labour lines. This move will provide land rights to over 3 lakh 33 thousand tea garden workers, who have been living in the labour lines without any title to such lands. This Bill excluded the Joloha tea garden workers who belongs to Muslim community.  

13.  Cyclone Ditwah, which claimed 69 lives in Sri Lanka, likely to reach north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and south Andhra Pradesh today morning.
