1.  The nation will celebrate Samvidhan Diwas today. The theme of this year’s celebration is Hamara Samvidhan-Hamara Swabhiman. The main function will be held in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers and Members of Parliament will attend the event.

8.  PM Modi will also virtually inaugurate Skyroot Aerospace’s new Infinity Campus in Hyderabad on November 27, marking a major boost for India’s private space sector. The facility is designed to accelerate the country’s capability to build, test and deploy multiple launch vehicles.

9.  President Smt Droupadi Murmu said that the collection of revenue is critical for nation-building. Addressing the Officer Trainees of Indian Revenue Service of the 76th batch in New Delhi, the President highlighted that these revenue funds – infrastructure, education, health, and social welfare. 1.  The Government has termed social media accounts of President Droupadi Murmu as fake. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) clarified that there is no official account of the President on WhatsApp Channel. 

2.  The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) convened a high-level meeting in New Delhi. The Ministry of Science and Technology said that the meeting aimed at strengthening ongoing collaborations and a forward-looking, integrated roadmap for joint health research. 

3.  India cancelled a NOTAM for missile tests from Andaman & Nicobar amid three Chinese research vessels operating in the Indian Ocean, suspected of espionage activities. 

4.  Assam has moved a significant legislative step with the introduction of a bill aimed at prohibiting polygamy across the state. The proposal seeks to criminalise the practice, define clear punitive measures, and extend protections to affected women. The move forms part of a broader policy drive to reform personal laws and strengthen women’s rights. 

5.  the National Commission for Women (NCW) has launched a new 24×7 short helpline number: 14490. The newly introduced toll-free number provides an easy-to-remember code for women across India to access help instantly, especially during emergencies involving violence, harassment, or threats.

Senior Indian Administrative Service officer Mahantesh Bilagi died in a road accident in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district on Monday. The 51-year-old officer was travelling with two relatives when their vehicle met with a fatal crash near Gounahalli village.  Bilagi was on his way to attend a relative’s wedding when the incident occurred.

1.  Ministry of Finance has said that the last date for eligible employees and past retirees under the National Pension System NPS to opt for the Unified Pension Scheme UPS is the 30th of this month.

1.  Rajya Sabha Chairman Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan yesterday met a Parliamentary Delegation from Cyprus led by President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Ms. Annita Demetriou at Parliament House in New Delhi. 

2.  Multiple Indian carriers have suspended or diverted multiple flights to West Asia after volcanic ash from Ethiopia’s Hayli Gubbi volcano drifted across the Arabian Peninsula, creating unsafe conditions for aviation. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) directed airlines to avoid contaminated airspace over the Arabian Peninsula and parts of western India. 

3.   In response to media queries regarding statements made by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that, Arunachal Pradesh is an integral and inalienable part of India and no amount of denial by the Chinese side ist going to change this indisputable reality.  

The issue of the detention of an Indian citizen from Arunachal Pradesh has been taken up strongly with the Chinese side.

3.  The United States formally designated Venezuelas Cartel de los Soles as a foreign terrorist organization, adding new terrorism sanctions to what Washington considers a high-level network tied to President Nicolas Maduro.
