UPSC की तैयारी के लिए कौनसी किताबें अति अनिवार्य है ?*
यूपीएससी वर्तमान समय मे भारत की सबसे प्रतिष्ठित परीक्षाओं मे से है। हर वर्ष लाखों छात्र इसमे भाग लेते है लेकिन कुछ ही सफल हो पाते है। किसी भी परीक्षा मे सफल होने के लिए आपकी लगन और अध्ययन सामग्री बहुत ही महत्त्वपूर्ण होती है और इस परीक्षा मे भी इसका बहुत योगदान है। वैसे तो सिर्फ किताबों से तो आपको सफलता नहीं मिलेगी लेकिन हाँ वो आपकी मदद अवश्य करेंगी और उन्हीं मददगार किताबों का नाम है -
1 शुरुआती अध्ययन के लिए एनसीईआरटी से अच्छी कोई बुक है ही नहीं ये आपका आधार बनाएगी और आपकी समझ विकसित करेगी। कक्षा 9 se 12 tak ki ncert बहुत है जरूरी नहीं कि आप 6 ki ncert से शुरू करे।
2 Polity के लिए - M. लक्ष्मीकांत - इस किताब की खास बात ये है कि इसकी भाषा बहुत सरल है भले ही यह थोड़ी मोटी जरूर है किन्तु परीक्षा के लिहाज से बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
इसके अलावा आप डी. डी. बसु भी पढ़ सकते है ये भी बहुत उत्कृष्ट किताब है लेकिन इसकी भाषा थोड़ी सी उलझन वाली है लेकिन 2 se 3 बार के बाद आपको ये जरूर पसंद आ जाएगी।
3 हिस्ट्री के लिए विपिन चंद्र की किताबें आपकी काफी मदद करेंगी। इसके अलावा मॉडर्न हिस्ट्री के लिए spectrum भी आपके पास एक अच्छा ऑप्शन रहेगा।
4 Economy के लिए आप रमेश सिंह की मदद ले सकते है इसकी भाषा बहुत ही सहज है जिससे आपको काफी मदद मिलेगी।
5 Geography के लिए आप मजीद हुसैन पढ़ सकते है। ये किताब थोड़ा सा बोर जरूर महसूस करवा सकती है लेकिन इसमे सभी concept को कम्प्लीट करने की कोशिश की गयी है। इसके अलावा g. C. Leoung की किताब भी महत्वपूर्ण है लेकिन मजीद हुसैन के बाद इसको पढ़ेंगे तो ज्यादा अच्छा होगा।
6 Art and culture के लिए रमेश सिंघानिया की किताब
7 इसके अलावा IR aur indian Security और साइंस टेक्नोलॉजी के लिए आप TMH की बुक ले सकते है।
इसके अलावा आपको डेली न्यूज पेपर और magazines की बहुत जरूरत होगी उनके बिना आपका pre कभी निकल ही नहीं सकता है। कुछ जरूरी magazines है -

UPSC is one of the most prestigious examinations in India at present. Every year lakhs of students participate in it but only a few are successful. To be successful in any examination, your dedication and study material are very important and it contributes a lot in this examination also. Although books alone will not give you success, but yes they will definitely help you and the names of those helpful books are -
1. There is no better book than NCERT for initial studies, it will form your base and develop your understanding. There are many NCERTs from class 9 to 12, it is not necessary that you start from NCERT 6.
2 For Polity - M. Laxmikant - The special thing about this book is that its language is very simple, although it is a little thick but it is very important from the exam point of view.
Apart from this, you can also read D.D. Basu, this is also a very excellent book but its language is a bit confusing but after 2 to 3 times you will definitely like it.
3. Vipin Chandra's books will help you a lot for History. Apart from this, spectrum will also be a good option for you for Modern History.
4. For Economy you can take the help of Ramesh Singh, his language is very easy which will help you a lot.
5 For Geography you can read Majeed Hussain. This book may make you feel a little bored but an attempt has been made to complete all the concepts in it. Apart from this g. C. Leung's book is also important but it would be better if you read it after Majeed Hussain.

7 Apart from this, you can take TMH book for IR and Indian Security and Science Technology.
Apart from this, you will need a lot of daily newspapers and magazines, without them your prep can never be completed. Some important magazines are -
