1582 - फ्रांस ने ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर का इस्तेमाल करना शुरु किया।

1884 - हकलबेरी फिन के मार्क ट्वेन एडवेंचर्स पहली बार लंदन में प्रकाशित हुआ।
