प्रश्न - व्याकरण किसे कहते हैं?
उत्तर - भाषा की शुद्धता और अशुद्धता का ज्ञान करने वाले शास्त्र को व्याकरण कहते हैं.
प्रश्न - भाषा क्या है?
उत्तर - विचारों को प्रकट करने का माध्यम ही भाषा है. जैसे हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, उर्दू आदि .
प्रश्न - वर्ण किसे कहते हैं?
उत्तर - वर्ण वह छोटी से छोटी ध्वनि है जिसके टुकड़े न किये जा सके. जैसे अ, आ, क, ख, य, त, र आदि .
प्रश्न - वर्ण कितने प्रकार के होते हैं ?
उत्तर - वर्ण दो प्रकार के होते हैं.(१) स्वर और (२) व्यंजन
प्रश्न - स्वर किसे कहते हैं?
उत्तर - जो अक्षर जो बिना किसी अन्य वर्ण की सहायता के बोला जा सकता हो उसे स्वर कहते हैं.जैसे - अ आ इ ई उ ऊ ए ऐ आदि.
प्रश्न - स्वर कितने प्रकार के होते हैं?
उत्तर - स्वर दो प्रकार के होते हैं - (१) हृस्व स्वर और (२) दीर्घ स्वर

उत्तर - जो शब्द किसे संज्ञा या सर्वनाम की विशेषता बताएं उसे विशेषण कहते है.
प्रश्न - सर्वनाम किसे कहते हैं?
उत्तर - जो शब्द संज्ञा के स्थान पर बोले जाते हैं उन्हें सर्वनाम कहते हैं.
प्रश्न - संज्ञा किसे कहते हैं?
उत्तर - किसी व्यक्ति, वस्तु, स्थान या भाव के नाम को संज्ञा कहते हैं. संज्ञा पांच प्रकार की होती है.

Answer - There are two types of vowels - (1) short vowel and (2) long vowel

Answer - The letters which require vowels to speak are called consonants.

Answer - There are total 11 (eleven) vowels in Hindi language.
Question - How many consonants are there in Hindi language?
Answer – There are total 39 (forty nine) consonants in Hindi language.
