🟥 ARIES और NIES, जापान के बीच समझौते को मंजूरी

✓ केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरण अध्ययन संस्थान (NIES), जापान और आर्यभट्ट रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ ऑब्जर्वेशनल साइंसेज (ARIES), भारत के बीच सहयोगात्मक दिशानिर्देश स्थापित करने के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन को मंजूरी दी।

✓ दोनों वायु गुणवत्ता और जलवायु परिवर्तन पर संयुक्त अनुसंधान लागू करेंगे।

✓ ARIES विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के तहत स्थापित एक स्वायत्त अनुसंधान संस्थान है।

🟧 स्वास्थ्य विभाग के क्षेत्र में भारत और अमेरिका के बीच समझौते को मंजूरी

✓ केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग, भारतीय चिकित्सा अनुसंधान परिषद (ICMR), और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय एड्स वैक्सीन पहल (IAVI), USA के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर करने को मंजूरी दी।

✓ HIV, TB, Covid-19 और अन्य उभरते संक्रामक रोगों को रोकने और उनका इलाज करने के लिए नए, बेहतर और नवीन जैव चिकित्सा उपकरणों और प्रौद्योगिकियों के विकास में योगदान करने के लिए इस पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

✓ केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आवास और शहरी मामलों के मंत्रालय (MoHUA) और विदेश मामले और व्यापार विभाग (DFAT), ऑस्ट्रेलिया सरकार के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन को मंजूरी दी।

✓ यह शहरी जल प्रबंधन में तकनीकी सहयोग के लिए है।

✓ यह शहरी जल सुरक्षा के क्षेत्र में दोनों देशों के बीच द्विपक्षीय सहयोग को सुदृढ़ करेगा।

🟩 भारत और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (UAE) के बीच समझौते को मंजूरी

✓ केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने भारत और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (UAE) के बीच एक द्विपक्षीय समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर करने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी।

✓ इस पर उद्योगों और उन्नत प्रौद्योगिकियों के क्षेत्र में सहयोग पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाएंगे।

✓ इसका उद्देश्य निवेश, प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण और उद्योगों में प्रमुख प्रौद्योगिकियों की तैनाती के माध्यम से दोनों देशों में उद्योगों को मजबूत और विकसित करना है।

🟦 SNBNCBS और IFW ड्रेसडेन e.V. ड्रेसडेन के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन को मिली मंजूरी

✓ केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने एस.एन. बोस नेशनल सेंटर फॉर बेसिक साइंसेज (SNBNCBS), कोलकाता, भारत और लाइबनिज-इंस्टीट्यूट फर फेस्टकोर्पर- और वेर्कस्टोफफोर्सचुंग ड्रेसडेन e.V. (IFW ड्रेसडेन e.V.) ड्रेसडेन, जर्मनी के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर करने को मंजूरी दी।

✓ इसे “नॉवेल मैग्नेटिक एंड टोपोलॉजिकल क्वांटम मैटेरियल्स” के क्षेत्र में वैज्ञानिक सहयोग के लिए हस्ताक्षरित किया गया है।

🟪 IRCTC होगी पर्यटन ट्रेन के माध्यम से दो देशों को जोड़ने वाली पहली एजेंसी

✓ इंडियन रेलवे कैटरिंग एंड टूरिज्म कॉरपोरेशन (IRCTC) भारत की पहली ऐसी एजेंसी होगी जो भारत गौरव योजना के तहत दो देशों को पर्यटक ट्रेनों के माध्यम से जोड़ेगी।

✓ ट्रेन नई दिल्ली से श्री रामायण यात्रा सर्किट पर प्रस्थान करेगी और नेपाल पहुंचने के लिए लगभग 8,000 किलोमीटर की दूरी तय करेगी।

✓ यह नेपाल के जनकपुर में राम जानकी मंदिर में भी रुकेगी।

🟫 IISc, IIT दिल्ली ने किया QS वर्ल्ड यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग में सुधार

✓ QS वर्ल्ड यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग में IIT दिल्ली 11 पायदान ऊपर आकर 174वें स्थान पर पहुंच गया।

✓ रैंकिंग का 19वां संस्करण 9 जून, 2022 को क्वाक्वेरेली साइमंड्स (QS) द्वारा जारी किया गया, जो संयुक्त राज्य में स्थित एक उच्च शिक्षा विश्लेषक है।

✓ IISc बेंगलुरु 31 पायदान ऊपर आ गया।

🟥 मीनाक्षी लेखी किर्गिज गणराज्य और कजाकिस्तान की छह दिवसीय यात्रा पर

✓ विदेश राज्य मंत्री मीनाक्षी लेखी 9 जून 2022 से किर्गिज गणराज्य और कजाकिस्तान की छह दिवसीय आधिकारिक यात्रा पर हैं।

✓ यह यात्रा भारत और दो मध्य एशियाई देशों के बीच सांस्कृतिक सहयोग को गहरा करने पर केंद्रित होगी।

✓ यात्रा के दौरान संस्कृति और विकास सहयोग के क्षेत्र में कुछ द्विपक्षीय समझौतों या समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाने की उम्मीद है।

🟩 बिरसा मुंडा की 122वीं पुण्यतिथि : 9 जून 2022

✓ 9 जून 2022 को आदिवासी स्वतंत्रता सेनानी बिरसा मुंडा की 122वीं पुण्यतिथि है।

✓ 1900 में अपने ऊपर चल रहे मुकदमे के दौरान 24 साल की उम्र में जेल में उनका निधन हो गया।

✓ बिरसा मुंडा का जन्म 15 नवंबर 1875 को हुआ था।

✓ वह छोटा नागपुर पठार क्षेत्र में मुंडा जनजाति में जन्मे थे।

✓ उन्हें इस क्षेत्र में ब्रिटिश शासन के खिलाफ उनकी सक्रियता के लिए जाना जाता है, जो अब झारखंड और बिहार राज्यों का हिस्सा है।

Agreement between ARIES and NIES, Japan approved

The Union Cabinet approved the MoU between National Institute of Environmental Studies (NIES), Japan and Aryabhata Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), India for establishing collaborative guidelines.

Both will implement joint research on air quality and climate change.

ARIES is an autonomous research institute established under the Department of Science and Technology.

Approval of agreement between India and America in the field of health department

The Union Cabinet approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Biotechnology, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), and International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), USA.

It was signed to contribute to the development of new, improved and innovative biomedical devices and technologies to prevent and treat HIV, TB, Covid-19 and other emerging infectious diseases.

Agreement between India and Australia for technical cooperation approved

The Union Cabinet approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Government of Australia.

It is for technical cooperation in urban water management.

It will strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of urban water security.

Agreement between India and United Arab Emirates (UAE) approved

The Union Cabinet approved the proposal to sign a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

It will be signed on cooperation in the field of industries and advanced technologies.

It aims to strengthen and develop industries in both the countries through investment, technology transfer and deployment of key technologies across industries.

The Union Cabinet has appointed S.N. Bose National Center for Basic Sciences (SNBNCBS), Kolkata, India and the Leibniz-Institut für Festkorper- and Werkstofforschung Dresden e.V. (IFW Dresden e.V.) approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dresden, Germany.

It has been signed for scientific cooperation in the field of “Novel Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials”.

IRCTC will be the first agency to connect two countries through tourism train

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will be the first agency in India to connect two countries through tourist trains under the Bharat Gaurav scheme.

The train will depart from New Delhi on the Shri Ramayana Yatra circuit and will cover a distance of approximately 8,000 kms to reach Nepal.

It will also stop at Ram Janaki Temple in Janakpur, Nepal.

IISc, IIT Delhi improve QS World University Rankings

IIT Delhi jumped 11 places to 174th position in the QS World University Rankings.

The 19th edition of the rankings was released on June 9, 2022 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a higher education analyst based in the United States.

IISc Bengaluru moved up 31 places.

Delhi University fell from the 501-510 bracket to the 521-530 bracket.

Meenakshi Lekhi on a six-day visit to the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan

Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi is on a six-day official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan from 9 June 2022.

The visit will focus on deepening cultural cooperation between India and the two Central Asian countries.

Some bilateral agreements or MoUs are expected to be signed in the field of culture and development cooperation during the visit.

Birsa Munda's 122nd death anniversary: ​​9 June 2022

9th June 2022 is the 122nd death anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda.

He died in prison in 1900 at the age of 24 during his ongoing trial.

Birsa Munda was born on 15 November 1875.

He was born in the Munda tribe in the Chota Nagpur plateau region.

He is known for his activism against British rule in the region, which is now part of the states of Jharkhand and Bihar.
