चेन्नई-कन्याकुमारी औद्योगिक गलियारा (CKIC)
एशियाई विकास बैंक (एडीबी) और भारत सरकार ने तमिलनाडु राज्य में चेन्नई-कन्याकुमारी औद्योगिक गलियारे (सीकेआईसी) में परिवहन कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार और औद्योगिक विकास की सुविधा के लिए $ 484 मिलियन के ऋण पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।
✅CKIC भारत के ईस्ट कोस्ट इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर (ECEC) का हिस्सा है, जो पश्चिम बंगाल से तमिलनाडु तक फैला है।
️औद्योगिक गलियारा क्या है?
औद्योगिक गलियारा मूल रूप से मल्टी-मोडल परिवहन सेवाओं से युक्त एक गलियारा है जो मुख्य धमनियों के रूप में राज्यों से होकर गुजरेगा।
औद्योगिक गलियारे उद्योग और बुनियादी ढांचे के बीच प्रभावी एकीकरण प्रदान करते हैं, जिससे समग्र आर्थिक और सामाजिक विकास होता है।
औद्योगिक गलियारे विश्व स्तरीय बुनियादी ढांचे का निर्माण करते हैं, जैसे:
1. उच्च गति परिवहन
नेटवर्क - रेल और सड़क।
2. अत्याधुनिक कार्गो हैंडलिंग उपकरण वाले बंदरगाह।
3. आधुनिक हवाई अड्डे।
4. विशेष आर्थिक क्षेत्र/औद्योगिक क्षेत्र।
5. लॉजिस्टिक पार्क/ट्रांसशिपमेंट हब।
6. नॉलेज पार्क औद्योगिक जरूरतों को पूरा करने पर केंद्रित हैं।
7. टाउनशिप/रियल एस्टेट जैसे पूरक बुनियादी ढांचे।
निम्नलिखित ग्यारह औद्योगिक गलियारा परियोजनाओं की पहचान की गई है और भारत सरकार द्वारा विकास के लिए अनुमोदित की गई हैं:
1. दिल्ली मुंबई औद्योगिक गलियारा (डीएमआईसी)
2. चेन्नई बेंगलुरु औद्योगिक गलियारा (CBIC)
3. कोयंबटूर होते हुए कोच्चि तक सीबीआईसी का विस्तार
4. अमृतसर कोलकाता औद्योगिक गलियारा (AKIC)
5. हैदराबाद नागपुर औद्योगिक गलियारा (HNIC)
6. हैदराबाद वारंगल औद्योगिक गलियारा (HWIC)
7. हैदराबाद बेंगलुरु औद्योगिक गलियारा (HBIC)
8. बेंगलुरु मुंबई औद्योगिक गलियारा (बीएमआईसी)
9. ईस्ट कोस्ट इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर (ईसीईसी) विजाग चेन्नई इंडस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर (वीसीआईसी) के साथ चरण -1 के रूप में
10. ओडिशा आर्थिक गलियारा (OEC)
11. दिल्ली नागपुर औद्योगिक गलियारा (DNIC)
इन ग्यारह औद्योगिक गलियारा परियोजनाओं का विकास राष्ट्रीय औद्योगिक गलियारा विकास और कार्यान्वयन ट्रस्ट (एनआईसीडीआईटी) के माध्यम से कार्यान्वित किया जाएगा।
🔆Chennai–Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor (CKIC)
✅The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India have signed a $484 million loan to improve transport connectivity and facilitate industrial development in the Chennai–Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor (CKIC) in the state of Tamil Nadu.
✅CKIC is part of India’s East Coast Economic Corridor (ECEC), which stretches from West Bengal to Tamil Nadu.
▪️What is an industrial corridor?
✅An industrial corridor is basically a corridor consisting of multi-modal transport services that would pass through the states as main arteries.
✅ Industrial corridors offer effective integration between industry and infrastructure, leading to overall economic and social development.
Industrial corridors constitute world-class infrastructure, such as:
1. High-speed transportation
network – rail and road.
2. Ports with state-of-the-art cargo handling equipment.
3. Modern airports.
4. Special economic regions/industrial areas.
5. Logistic parks/transhipment hubs.
6. Knowledge parks focused on catering to industrial needs.
7. Complementary infrastructure such as townships/real estate.
✅Following eleven industrial corridor projects have been identified and approved for development by the Government of India:
1. Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)
2. Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC)
3. Extension of CBIC to Kochi via Coimbatore
4. Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC)
5. Hyderabad Nagpur Industrial Corridor (HNIC)
6. Hyderabad Warangal Industrial Corridor (HWIC)
7. Hyderabad Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (HBIC)
8. Bengaluru Mumbai Industrial Corridor (BMIC)
9. East Coast Economic Corridor (ECEC) with Vizag Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) as Phase-1
10. Odisha Economic Corridor (OEC)
11. Delhi Nagpur Industrial Corridor (DNIC)
✅The development of these eleven industrial corridor projects will be implemented through the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT).
