◆  इसे 345 करोड़ रुपये के कोष के साथ लॉन्च किया गया था, जिसका उद्देश्य टियर-3 से टियर-6 केंद्रों में डिजिटल भुगतान के लिए हर साल 30 लाख नए टच पॉइंट बनाना था।

◆  रिजर्व बैंक ने हाल ही में टियर 1 और 2 केंद्रों में पीएम स्वनिधि कार्यक्रम के तहत कवर किए गए स्ट्रीट वेंडर्स के लिए प्वाइंट ऑफ सेल (PoS) बुनियादी ढांचे की तैनाती को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए योजना का विस्तार किया है।

◆  पीएम स्ट्रीट वेंडर की आत्मनिर्भर निधि (पीएम स्वानिधि) योजना का उद्देश्य कोरोनोवायरस महामारी से प्रभावित स्ट्रीट वेंडरों को उनकी आजीविका गतिविधियों को फिर से शुरू करने में मदद करना है।
