विश्व के प्रमुख पठार-Major plateaus of the world

💐ब्राजील के पठार : दक्षिण अमेरिका के मध्य पूर्वी भाग में यह पठार स्थित है। इसका आकार त्रिभजाकार रूप में हैं।

💐तिब्बत का पठार : यह पठार हिमालय के उत्तर और क्यूनलुन पर्वत के दक्षिण में 4000 से 5000 मीटर तक कि ऊँचाई पर स्थित हैं।

💐कोलंबिया का पठार : यह पठार सयुंक्त राज्य अमेरिका के वाशिंगटन ,ऑरगन और इडाहो राज्यों के मध्य स्थित हैं। इसका क्षेत्रफल लगभग 4,62,500 वर्ग किमी हैं।

💐मैक्सिको का पठार : यह पठार पूर्वी सियारामाद्रे और पश्चिम सियारामाद्रे पर्वत श्रेणियों के मध्य स्थित हैं।

💐ग्रीनलैंड का पठार : अन्ध महासागर या अटलांटिक महासागर के उत्तरी भाग में लगभग 21,75600 वर्ग किमी क्षेत्रफल में हिम से ढका हुआ विशाल पठार हैं।

💐अलास्का का पठार : इस पठार का निर्माण युकन और उसकी सहायक नदी के द्वारा हुआ हैं। इसलिए इसे युकन का पठार भी कहा जाता हैं।

💐बोलिविया का पठार : यह पठार बोलिविया के एण्डीज पर्वतमाला में फैला हुआ हैं। यह पठार 800 किमी लम्बा और 128 किमी चौड़ा और इसकी ऊँचाई लगभग 3,110 मीटर है।

💐कोलोरेडो का पठार : यह पठार ग्रेट बेसिन में दक्षिण में स्थित है और इसका विस्तार एरीजोना व यूटाह राज्यों में हैं।

💐ग्रेट बेसिन का पठार : यह पठार कोलंबिया के दक्षिण में कोलोरेडो और कोलंबिया नदी के मध्य 5,25000 वर्ग किमी में फैला हैं।

💐अरब के पठार : यह पठार एशिया महाद्वीप के दक्षिण-पश्चिम में स्थित हैं। इसके पूर्व में फ़ारस की खाड़ी ,पश्चिम में लाल सागर , उत्तर-पश्चिम में भूमध्य सागर और दक्षिण में अरब सागर हैं।

💐ईरान का पठार : इस पठार को एशिया माइनर का पठार भी कहते हैं जिसकी ऊँचाई 900 से 1500 मीटर के बीच हैं।

💐टर्की का पठार : यह टर्की के एंटीक व टॉरस श्रेणियों के मध्य स्थित हैं। इसकी औसत ऊँचाई 800 मीटर है। इसे अनातोलिया का पठार भी कहते हैं।

💐दक्कन का पठार : यह पठार दक्षिण भारत मे स्थित है जो तीनों तरफ से पर्वत-श्रेणियों से घिरा हुआ हैं।

💐मेडागास्कर का पठार : यह पठार मेडागास्कर द्वीप में स्थित है जो अफ्रीका के दक्षिणी-पूर्व हिन्द महासागर में स्थित हैं।

💐मेसेटा का पठार : यह पठार स्पेन के आइबेरियन प्रायद्वीप पर मेसेटा का पठार स्थित हैं जिसकी औसत ऊँचाई 610 मीटर हैं।

💐ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पठार : यह पठार ऑस्ट्रेलिया महाद्वीप के पश्चिमी भाग में स्थित हैं। इस पठार का दक्षिण भाग मरुस्थलीय हैं। इस पठार की औसत ऊँचाई 180 मीटर से 600 मीटर के मध्य है।

💐इंडो-चीन का पठार : यह पठार दक्षिण एशिया के पूर्वी प्रायद्वीप में स्थित हैं। जहां से सिकांग,मीकांग,मीनाम सालविन आदि नदियाँ प्रवाहित होती हैं।
