भारतीय मुक्केबाज़ मैरी कॉम को 3 मार्च, 2021 को इंटरनेशनल बॉक्सिंग एसोसिएशन (AIBA) की चैंपियन और वेटरन्स समिति का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया था।

Mary Kom is an Indian boxer. She is also a current member of the Indian Parliament. He was nominated as a member of the Upper House of the Rajya Sabha on 25 April 2016 by President Ram Nath Kovind. He has created many history for India in the field of boxing. She is the only female boxer to have become a "world boxing champion" for a six-time record. He has won eight World Championship medals. In addition, Mary is the only female boxer to have won a medal in the first seven world championships.

Mary Kom has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan in the year 2020 which is the second highest civilian award in India. In 2006, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India. He was also awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2013, the third highest civilian award.
