ब्लड मून (Blood Moon) क्या है? 🤔

ब्लड मून (Blood Moon) की घटना तब होती है जब पूर्ण चंद्रग्रहण पर होता है। इस दौरान चंद्रमा लाल या सुर्ख भूरे रंग का दिखता है। इस प्रकार इसे ब्लड मून (Blood Moon) कहा जाता है। अगला ब्लड मून 26 मई 2021 को दिखाई देगा। आखिरी ब्लड मून 20-21 जनवरी 2019 को हुआ था।

🌝 ब्लड मून के दौरान चंद्रमा का रंग क्यों बदलता है?

चंद्र ग्रहण पूर्णिमा के दौरान ही होता है। इस समय के दौरान, चंद्रमा पूरी तरह से पृथ्वी की छाया में होता है। इस समय सूर्योदय और सूर्यास्त के समय पृथ्वी पर पहुंचने वाली थोड़ी सी धूप चंद्रमा पर पड़ती है। यह ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए कि सूर्योदय और सूर्यास्त के दौरान आकाश लाल रंग का होता है। इसका मतलब है कि इस दौरान सफेद रोशनी में सभी सात VIBGYOR रंगों में से केवल लाल ही पृथ्वी पर पहुंचता है। यह लाल रंग का प्रकाश चंद्रमा पर परावर्तित होता है और इस प्रकार चंद्रमा ब्लड मून में बदल जाता है।

 Why is the sky red during sunset and sunrise?

Since the sun is on the horizon, sunlight has to travel long distances to reach the surface of the earth. This means that during this time of day, light has to withstand more atmospheric particles. These particles disperse the maximum amount of light. Of all the VIBGYOR colors in sunlight, the red color has the highest wavelength and thus reaches the surface of the Earth. Other colors tend to disintegrate during their journey towards Earth.
