हर साल 30 मई को गोवा अपना स्थापना दिवस मनाता है। गोवा भारत में शामिल होने वाला 25वां राज्य था। क्योंकि इसी दिन 30 मई, 1987 को गोवा को पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा मिला था। भारत के आजाद होने के 14 साल बाद तक भी गोवा पुर्तगाली शासन के अधीन रहा। 19 दिसंबर, 1961 को गोवा को पुर्तगालियों से आजाद कराया गया। 19 दिसंबर को गोवा में मुक्ति दिवस मनाया जाता है। आइये आज गोवा की मुक्ति और इसके इतिहास के बारे में जानते हैं।

✍️ गोवा राज्य का परिचय :

गोवा या गोआ क्षेत्रफल के हिसाब से भारत का सबसे छोटा और जनसंख्या के हिसाब से चौथा सबसे छोटा राज्य है। पूरी दुनिया में गोवा अपने खूबसूरत तट और मशहूर स्थापत्य के लिए जाना जाता है। गोवा पहले पुर्तगाल का एक उपनिवेश था। पुर्तगालियों ने गोवा पर लगभग 450 सालों तक शासन किया और दिसंबर 1961 में यह भारतीय प्रशासन को सौंपा गया।

⌛️ गोवा का राज्यत्व दिवस का इतिहास :

15 अगस्त 1947 को जैसे ही भारत को स्वतंत्रता मिली, भारत ने पुर्तगालियों से उनके क्षेत्रों को सौंपने का अनुरोध किया। हालांकि, पुर्तगालियों ने इनकार कर दिया। 1961 में, भारत सरकार ने ऑपरेशन विजय (Operation Vijay) शुरू किया और दमन  व दीव, द्वीपों और गोवा को भारतीय मुख्य भूमि के साथ जोड़ लिया।

30 मई 1987 को इस क्षेत्र को विभाजित किया गया और गोवा का गठन किया गया। दमन और दीव केंद्र शासित प्रदेश बने रहे। कोंकणी गोवा की राजभाषा है।

🏝 इतिहास में गोवा की भूमिका :

गोवा ने भिक्षुओं और मिशनरियों को आकर्षित किया जिन्होंने गोवा की संस्कृति में बहुत छाप छोड़ी। इसके अलावा, गोवा 1370 में विजयनगर साम्राज्य का हिस्सा था और बाद में बीजापुर सल्तनत का भी हिस्सा रहा।

🏖 गोवा में पुर्तगाली :

पुर्तगालियों ने 1510 में अफोंसो डी अल्बुकर्क (Afonso de Albuquerque) के नेतृत्व में गोवा पर विजय प्राप्त की। जैसे ही उन्होंने गोवा पर विजय प्राप्त की, उन्होंने मसाले के व्यापार पर नियंत्रण कर लिया।

💢 जब पूर्ण राज्य बना गोवा :

बाद में गोवा में चुनाव हुए और 20 दिसंबर, 1962 को श्री दयानंद भंडारकर गोवा के पहले निर्वाचित मुख्यमंत्री बने। गोवा के महाराष्ट्र में विलय की भी बात चली, क्योंकि गोवा महाराष्ट्र के पड़ोस में ही स्थित था। वर्ष 1967 में वहां जनमत संग्रह हुआ और गोवा के लोगों ने केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के रूप में रहना पसंद किया। बाद में 30 मई, 1987 को गोवा को पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा दे दिया गया और इस प्रकार गोवा भारतीय गणराज्य का 25वां राज्य बना।

 Portuguese in Goa:

The Portuguese conquered Goa in 1510 under the leadership of Afonso de Albuquerque. As soon as they conquered Goa, they took control of the spice trade.

💢 When Goa became a full state:

Later elections were held in Goa and on December 20, 1962, Shri Dayanand Bhandarkar became the first elected Chief Minister of Goa. There was also talk of a merger of Goa with Maharashtra, as Goa was located in the neighborhood of Maharashtra. A referendum took place there in 1967 and the people of Goa preferred to live as a union territory. Later on 30 May 1987, Goa was given full state status and thus Goa became the 25th state of the Republic of India.
