“आर्थिक और व्यापार मुद्दों पर ब्रिक्स संपर्क समूह” की पहली बैठक आयोजित की गयी।

आर्थिक और व्यापार मुद्दों पर ब्रिक्स संपर्क समूह (CGETI) ने भारत की अध्यक्षता में अपनी पहली बैठक आयोजित की। यह बैठक 9 मार्च से 11 मार्च, 2021 के बीच आयोजित की गई।

📌 थीम 2021 ➛ “BRICS@15: Intra BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation, and Consensus”

▪️ मुख्य बिंदु:

भारत ने 2021 के लिए अपनी अध्यक्षता के तहत BRICS CGETI 2021 के लिए इवेंट्स का एक कैलेंडर प्रस्तुत किया।

🅱 ब्रिक्स 2021 – 13वां ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन :

ब्रिक्स 2021 या 13वां ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन ‘BRICS @ 15: Intra-BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation and Consensus’ विषय के तहत भारत की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित किया जाएगा। इस शिखर सम्मेलन में तीन स्तंभों के बारे में चर्चा होगी:

1. राजनीतिक और सुरक्षा – इस दौरान सदस्य वैश्विक और क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा पर चर्चा करेंगे, जिसके लिए प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्रों में शामिल हैं- आतंकवाद रोधी सहयोग और बहुपक्षीय प्रणाली में सुधार।

2. आर्थिक और वित्तीय – सदस्य देश कृषि, व्यापार, बुनियादी ढांचे, ऊर्जा, वित्त और बैंकिंग, छोटे और मध्यम उद्यमों सहित क्षेत्रों में सहयोग पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेंगे।

3. सांस्कृतिक स्तम्भ – संस्कृति और लोगों से लोगों के बीच आदान-प्रदान से सदस्यों के बीच संबंध और मज़बूत होंगे।

 The first meeting of the "BRICS Contact Group on Economic and Trade Issues" was held.

 The BRICS Liaison Group (CGETI) on economic and trade issues held its first meeting under the chairmanship of India.  The meeting was held from March 9 to March 11, 2021.

 📌 Theme 2021 ➛ "BRICS @ 15: Intra BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation, and Consensus"

 ▪️ Key Points:

 India presented a calendar of events for BRICS CGETI 2021 under its chairmanship for 2021.

 🅱 BRICS 2021 - 13th BRICS Summit:

 The BRICS 2021 or 13th BRICS Summit will be held under the chairmanship of India under the theme 'BRICS @ 15: Intra-BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation and Consensus'.  There will be discussion about three pillars in this summit:

 1. Political and Security - During this period, members will discuss global and regional security, for which priority areas include - counter-terrorism cooperation and reform of the multilateral system.

 2. Economic and Financial - Member countries will focus on cooperation in areas including agriculture, trade, infrastructure, energy, finance and banking, small and medium enterprises.

 3. Cultural Pillars - Culture and people-to-people exchanges will strengthen the relationship between the members.
