25 फरवरी : राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक की दूसरी वर्षगाँठ : 𝙽𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙻 𝚆𝙰𝚁 𝙼𝙴𝙼𝙾𝚁𝙸𝙰𝙻 𝙳𝙰𝚈

✅ 25 फरवरी : राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक की दूसरी वर्षगाँठ : 𝙽𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙻 𝚆𝙰𝚁 𝙼𝙴𝙼𝙾𝚁𝙸𝙰𝙻 𝙳𝙰𝚈

25 फरवरी, 2020 को राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक की पहली वर्षगाँठ मनाई गयी। इस अवसर पर सीडीएस बिपिन रावत ने युद्ध स्मारक में श्रद्धांजली अर्पित की। इस युद्ध स्मारक का उद्घाटन 25 फरवरी, 2019 को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी द्वारा किया गया था।

▪️ राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक :

• राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक 40 एकड़ के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है।

• राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक में चार वृत्त हैं – अमर चक्र, वीरता चक्र, त्याग चक्र तथा रक्षक चक्र। इसमें ग्रेनाइट पर सुनहरे शब्दों में 25,942 सैनिकों के नाम लिखे हुए हैं।

• इस युद्ध स्मारक का निर्माण 176 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से किया गया है।

• इस युद्ध स्मारक के द्वारा 1962 के भारत चीन युद्ध, 1965 से 1971 के भारत-पाक युद्ध, श्रीलंका में भारतीय शांति बल तथा 1999 कारगिल युद्ध के सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजली दी गयी है।

• इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए 18 दिसम्बर, 2015 को मंज़ूरी दी गयी। इस प्रोजेक्ट का कार्य फरवरी, 2018 में शुरू हुआ। एक वर्ष के भीतर ही यह निर्माण कार्य पूरा हो गया।

• इस युद्ध स्मारक में परम योद्धा स्थल में 21 परम वीर चक्र विजेताओं की मूर्तियाँ भी बनायीं गयी हैं।

▪️ ​​राष्ट्रीय समर स्मारक या युद्ध स्मारक :

• भारत सरकार द्वारा नई दिल्ली में देश के सशस्त्र बलों को सम्मानित करने हेतु 44 एकड़ की जगह में फैला एक स्मारक बनाया गया है।

• यह इंडिया गेट के पास छतरी (चंदवा) के आसपास मौजूद है।

• इस स्मारक का उद्घाटन करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी  ने 25 फरवरी 2019 को इसे नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल के रूप में राष्ट्र को समर्पित किया था।

• स्मारक की दीवार को जमीन के साथ व मौजूदा सौंदर्य शास्त्र के साथ सामंजस्य स्थापित कर बनाया गया है।

• यहां आजादी के बाद के 1947-48, 1961 (गोवा), 1962 (चीन), 1965, 1971, 1987 (सियाचिन), 1987-88 (श्रीलंका), 1999 (कारगिल), जैसे युद्धों में शहीद हुए भारतीय सैनिकों के नाम पत्थरों पर लिखे गए हैं।

• 1960 में सशस्त्र बलों ने पहली बार एक राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक का प्रस्ताव रखा था।

• जिसके बाद तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी के कार्यकाल में शहीद जवानों को श्रद्धांजलि देने हेतु इंडिया गेट के पास अमर ज्योति जलाई गई थी, जो कि 24 घंटे जलती रहती है।

▪️ वास्तुकला :

• राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक के मुख्य वास्तुकार वीबी डिजाइन लैब, चेन्नई के योगेश चंद्रहासन है। वेब डिज़ाइन लैब को वास्तुशिल्प डिजाइन की अवधारणा तथा परियोजना के निर्माण के समन्वय हेतु चुना गया था।

• इस बाबत एक वैश्विक डिजाइन प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई और परिणाम अप्रैल 2019 की शुरुआत में घोषित किया गया था।  वीबी डिजाइन लैब के प्रस्ताव को विजेता घोषित किया गया था।

✅ 25 February: Second Anniversary of National War Memorial: 𝙽𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙻 𝚆𝙰𝚁 𝙼𝙴𝙼𝙾𝚁𝙸𝙰𝙻 𝙳𝙰𝚈

 On February 25, 2020, the first anniversary of the National War Memorial was celebrated.  On this occasion, CDS Bipin Rawat paid tribute to the war memorial.  This war memorial was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi on 25 February 2019.

 ▪️ National War Memorial:

 • The National War Memorial is spread over an area of ​​40 acres.

 • There are four circles in the National War Memorial - Amar Chakra, Bravery Chakra, Tyagna Chakra and Rakshak Chakra.  It has 25,942 soldiers' names written in golden words on granite.

 • This war memorial has been constructed at a cost of Rs 176 crores.

 • This war memorial pays tribute to the Indo-China war of 1962, Indo-Pak war of 1965 to 1971, the Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka and the 1999 Kargil War soldiers.

 • Approved on 18 December 2015 for this project.  Work on this project started in February 2018.  This construction work was completed within a year.

 • In this war memorial, statues of 21 Param Vir Chakra winners have also been made in the Param Warrior site.

 ▪️ National Summer Memorial or War Memorial:

 • A memorial spread over an area of ​​44 acres has been built by the Government of India in New Delhi to honor the armed forces of the country.

 • It is present around Chhatri (canopy) near India Gate.

 • Inaugurating this memorial, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated it to the nation on 25 February 2019 as National War Memorial.

 • The memorial wall has been built in harmony with the ground and existing aesthetics.

 Names of Indian soldiers who died in wars like post-independence 1947-48, 1961 (Goa), 1962 (China), 1965, 1971, 1987 (Siachen), 1987-88 (Sri Lanka), 1999 (Kargil)  Are written on the stones.

 • A National War Memorial was first proposed by the Armed Forces in 1960.

 • After which Amar Jyoti was lit near India Gate to pay tribute to the martyred soldiers during the tenure of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, which keeps on burning for 24 hours.

 ▪️ Architecture:

 • The chief architect of the National War Memorial is Yogesh Chandrahasan of VB Design Lab, Chennai.  The Web Design Lab was chosen to coordinate the concept of architectural design and the construction of the project.

 • A global design competition was organized in this regard and the result was announced in early April 2019.  VB Design Lab's proposal was declared the winner.
