⇒ प्रकार - धान्वन श्रेणी के दुर्ग को छोड़कर सभी श्रेणी का दुर्ग

⇒ निर्माता - चित्रांगद मौर्य (मौर्य राजा) (प्रसिद्ध ग्रंथ 'वीर विनोद' के अनुसार)

⇒ स्थित - मेसा पठार, गंभीरी और बेड़च नदियों के संगम, चित्तौड़गढ़

⇒ आकार - व्हेल मछली के समान।

⇒ उपनाम - राजस्थान का गौरव, गढ़ों का सिरमौर, चित्रकूट । इस दुर्ग की परिधि लगभग 13 किलोमीटर हैं।

⇒ कहावत - गढ़ तो गढ़ चित्तौड़गढ़, बाकी सब गढ़या। मेवाड़ के गुहिलवंशीय शासक बप्पा रावल ने मौर्य शासक मानमोरी को परास्त कर 734 ई. में इस दुर्ग पर अधिकार कर लिया।

⇒ राजस्थान के दुर्गों में क्षेत्रफल की दृष्टि से सबसे बड़ा, राज्य का सबसे बड़ा लिविंग फोर्ट तथा एकमात्र दुर्ग जिसमें कृषि की जाती है। यह दिल्ली - मालवा मार्ग पर अवस्थित है।

Located - Mesa plateau, confluence of Gambhiri and Berach rivers, Chittorgarh

Shape - Similar to whale fish.

Nickname - Pride of Rajasthan, Sirmaur of strongholds, Chitrakoot. The circumference of this fort is about 13 kilometers.

Proverb - Citadel is fort Chittorgarh, everything else is built. The Guhil dynasty ruler of Mewar, Bappa Rawal, defeated the Maurya ruler Manmori and occupied this fort in 734 AD.

The largest in terms of area in the forts of Rajasthan, the largest living fort in the state and the only fort in which agriculture is done. It is located on Delhi - Malwa road.
