1. ए. गोपालकृष्णन ने जीता वासविक (VASVIK) इंडस्ट्रियल रिसर्च अवार्ड 2020

• डॉ. ए. गोपालकृष्णन ने कृषि विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी की श्रेणी में वर्ष 2020 के लिए प्रतिष्ठित VASVIK (विविधलक्सी औद्योगिक शोधन विकास केंद्र) औद्योगिक अनुसंधान पुरस्कार जीता।

• वह ICAR-केंद्रीय समुद्री मत्स्य अनुसंधान संस्थान (CMFRI) के निदेशक हैं।

• इस पुरस्कार में 1.51 लाख रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार और प्रशस्ति पत्र दिया जाता है।

2. भारतीय नौसेना ने किया सरफेस टू एयर मिसाइल प्रणाली का सफल परीक्षण

• भारतीय नौसेना ने मई 2022 में कम उड़ान वाले लक्ष्य को भेदकर अपनी जहाज आधारित सरफेस टू एयर मिसाइल प्रणाली का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया है।

• इसने मई 2022 में ओडिशा में सीकिंग 42B हेलीकॉप्टर से पहली स्वदेशी नौसैनिक एंटी-शिप मिसाइल का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण भी किया।

• इससे पहले, ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल के जहाज-रोधी संस्करण का भी सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया गया था।

3. मूडीज ने भारत का CY22 विकास अनुमान घटाकर किया 8.8%

• अपने ग्लोबल मैक्रो आउटलुक 2022-23 के मई अपडेट में, मूडीज ने भारत के लिए अपने कैलेंडर-वर्ष 2022 के विकास पूर्वानुमान को, मार्च में किए गए 9.1% के पहले के पूर्वानुमान से, घटाकर 8.8% कर दिया है।

• इसने अपने 2023 के विकास पूर्वानुमान को 5.4% पर बनाए रखा है।

• मूडीज को उम्मीद है कि 2022 में G-20 अर्थव्यवस्थाएं 3.1% बढ़ेगी, जो 2021 में 5.9% की वृद्धि से कम होगी।

4. UP के वित्त मंत्री ने पेश किया FY23 के लिए 6.15 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का बजट

• उत्तर प्रदेश के वित्त मंत्री सुरेश कुमार खन्ना ने 26 मई 2022 को राज्य विधानसभा में 6.15 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का बजट पेश किया।

• वित्तीय वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए 6,15,518.97 करोड़ रुपये के बजट में नई योजनाओं के लिए 39,181.10 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान शामिल है।

• पुलिस आपातकालीन प्रबंधन प्रणाली के तहत 730.88 करोड़ रुपये के प्रावधान से 112 योजना का दूसरा चरण शुरू होगा।

5. FY22 में GDP वृद्धि के 8.2-8.5% पर रहने का अनुमान: SBI Ecowrap रिपोर्ट

• भारतीय स्टेट बैंक की शोध रिपोर्ट Ecowrap ने अपने नवीनतम संस्करण में वित्त वर्ष 2022 के लिए भारत की GDP वृद्धि को 8.2-8.5 प्रतिशत पर रहने का अनुमान लगाया है।

• Q4FY22 के लिए, रिपोर्ट ने 2.7 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि का अनुमान लगाया है।

• रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि केंद्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय ने चौथी तिमाही में GDP के 41.04 लाख करोड़ रुपये और वित्त वर्ष 2022 की वास्तविक GDP वृद्धि को 147.7 लाख करोड़ रुपये रहने का अनुमान लगाया था।

6. NMCG ने किए 273.52 करोड़ रुपये के चतुर्भुज समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर

• स्वच्छ गंगा के लिए राष्ट्रीय मिशन (NMCG) ने हाइब्रिड वार्षिकी मोड के तहत पश्चिम बंगाल में महेशतला के लिए सीवेज बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास के लिए 2 चतुर्भुज समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए।

• इसकी कुल लागत 273.52 करोड़ रुपये होगी।

• इनमें से एक समझौता NMCG, कोलकाता मेट्रोपॉलिटन डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी, महेशतला वेस्ट वाटर मैनेजमेंट प्राइवेट लिमिटेड और यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के बीच एक एस्क्रो(Escrow) समझौता है।

7. कोयला मंत्रालय करेगा राष्ट्रीय खनिज कांग्रेस का आयोजन

• कोयला मंत्रालय 27-28 मई 2022 को अंगुल, भुवनेश्वर में JSPL के कोयला गैसीकरण संयंत्र के क्षेत्रीय दौरे और राष्ट्रीय खनिज कांग्रेस का आयोजन करेगा।

• कांग्रेस के प्रमुख उप-विषय – खनन में प्रौद्योगिकी को अपनाना, एल्युमीनियम और इस्पात क्षेत्र में चुनौतियां, और कोयला गैसीकरण और कोयले से हाइड्रोजन बनाने की योजना हैं।

8. राष्ट्रपति ने किया राष्ट्रीय महिला विधायक सम्मेलन-2022 का उद्घाटन

• राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने 26 मई 2022 को तिरुवनंतपुरम में राष्ट्रीय महिला विधायक सम्मेलन-2022 का उद्घाटन किया।

• ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ के हिस्से के रूप में केरल विधानसभा द्वारा 20-दिवसीय सम्मेलन की मेजबानी की जा रही है।

• पहली बार राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर महिला विधायकों के सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।

1. A. Gopalakrishnan won the VASVIK Industrial Research Award 2020

• Dr. A. Gopalakrishnan has won the prestigious VASVIK (Vividhalaxi Industrial Refinement Development Center) Industrial Research Award for the year 2020 in the category of Agricultural Science and Technology.

• He is the director of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).

• The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1.51 lakh and a citation.

2. Indian Navy Successfully Tested Surface to Air Missile System

• The Indian Navy has successfully test-fired its ship-based Surface to Air missile system in May 2022 by hitting a low-flying target.

• It also successfully test-fired the first indigenous naval anti-ship missile from a Seaking 42B helicopter in Odisha in May 2022.

• Earlier, the anti-ship version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile was also successfully test fired.

3. Moody's cuts India's CY22 growth forecast to 8.8%

• In the May update of its Global Macro Outlook 2022-23, Moody's has lowered its calendar-year 2022 growth forecast for India to 8.8% from the earlier forecast of 9.1% in March.

• It has maintained its 2023 growth forecast at 5.4%.

• Moody's expects G-20 economies to grow by 3.1% in 2022, down from 5.9% growth in 2021.

4. UP Finance Minister presented a budget of over Rs 6.15 lakh crore for FY23

• Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna presented a budget of over Rs 6.15 lakh crore in the state assembly on 26 May 2022.

• The budget of Rs 6,15,518.97 crore for the financial year 2022-23 includes a provision of Rs 39,181.10 crore for new schemes.

• The second phase of the 112 scheme will start with a provision of Rs 730.88 crore under the Police Emergency Management System.

5. GDP growth forecast at 8.2-8.5% in FY22: SBI Ecowrap Report

• State Bank of India's research report Ecowrap in its latest edition has projected India's GDP growth at 8.2-8.5 percent for the fiscal year 2022.

• For Q4FY22, the report has projected a growth of 2.7 per cent.

• The report said that the Central Statistics Office had projected GDP growth of Rs 41.04 lakh crore in the fourth quarter and the real GDP growth for FY 2022 at Rs 147.7 lakh crore.

6. NMCG signs quadrilateral agreements worth Rs 273.52 crore

• National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) signed 2 quadrilateral agreements for development of sewage infrastructure for Maheshtala in West Bengal under hybrid annuity mode.

• Its total cost will be Rs 273.52 crore.

• One of these agreements is an escrow agreement between NMCG, Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority, Maheshtala Waste Water Management Pvt Ltd and Union Bank of India.

7. Ministry of Coal to organize National Mineral Congress

• Ministry of Coal will organize a field visit to JSPL's Coal Gasification Plant and National Mineral Congress at Angul, Bhubaneswar on 27-28 May 2022.

• The major sub-topics of the Congress are Technology Adoption in Mining, Challenges in the Aluminum and Steel Sector, and Coal Gasification and Planning to Make Hydrogen from Coal.

8. President Inaugurates National Women Legislators Conference-2022

• President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the National Conference of Women Legislators-2022 in Thiruvananthapuram on 26 May 2022.

• The 20-day convention is being hosted by the Kerala Legislative Assembly as part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'.

• For the first time, a conference of women legislators is being organized at the national level.
