RDSO बना भारत का पहला मानक विकास संगठन ❪Standard Developing Organization❫

भारतीय रेलवे का अनुसंधान डिजाइन और मानक संगठन (RDSO) विंग, मानक विकास संगठन (SDO- Standard Developing Organization) के रूप में घोषित होने वाला भारत का पहला संस्थान बन गया है।

भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो के “एक राष्ट्र एक मानक” (One Nation One Standard) मिशन के तहत मानक विकास संगठन का टैग दिया गया है।

• रेल मंत्रालय के अनुसार, यह दो संगठनों द्वारा एक अनूठी पहल है जिसके तहत भारत सरकार ऐसे मानकों को अनुकूलित करने के लिए शेष भारत के प्रमुख अनुसंधान और मानक विकास संगठनों के लिए एक खाका तैयार करेगी।

• BIS ने “एक राष्ट्र एक मानक” के सरकार के दृष्टिकोण को प्राप्त करने के लिए ‘राष्ट्रीय मानक निकाय’ (National Standards Body) योजना शुरू की।

• राष्ट्रीय मानक निकाय योजना “एसडीओ की मान्यता” का भी प्रावधान करती है।

BIS ने इस योजना को मौजूदा क्षमताओं और समर्पित डोमेन विशिष्ट विशेषज्ञता को समेकित और एकीकृत करने के उद्देश्य से लॉन्च किया है जो विशिष्ट क्षेत्रों में मानकों के विकास में लगे भारत के विभिन्न संगठनों के पास उपलब्ध हैं।

लखनऊ में आरडीएसओ, रेल मंत्रालय का एकमात्र अनुसंधान और डिजाइन विंग है। यह भारत का अग्रणी मानक तैयार करने वाला निकाय है जो रेलवे क्षेत्र के लिए मानकीकरण कार्य करता है।

🤔 SDO मान्यता का क्या अर्थ है?

SDO (Standard Developing Organization) की मान्यता के साथ, RDSO (Research Design & Standards Organization) की मानक निर्माण प्रक्रियाएं आम सहमति आधारित निर्णय लेने पर अधिक केंद्रित हो जाएंगी। यह प्रारंभिक चरणों से मानक बनाने की प्रक्रिया में सभी हितधारकों जैसे उद्योग, शिक्षा, परीक्षण गृहों, उपयोगकर्ताओं, मान्यता प्राप्त प्रयोगशालाओं आदि को व्यापक रूप से संलग्न करेगा। इस टैग के साथ, उद्योगों के बीच प्रतिस्पर्धा बढ़ेगी जिसके परिणामस्वरूप लागत में कमी और गुणवत्ता में सुधार होगा। यह आयात निर्भरता को भी कम करेगा और मेक इन इंडिया पहल को बढ़ावा देगा।

The Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO) wing of Indian Railways has become the first institute in India to be declared as Standards Development Organization.

Key Points:

The Standard Development Organization has been tagged under the "One Nation One Standard" mission of the Bureau of Indian Standards.

• According to the Ministry of Railways, this is a unique initiative by the two organizations under which the Government of India will prepare a blueprint for the rest of India's premier research and standard development organizations to adapt such standards.

• BIS launched the 'National Standards Body' scheme to achieve the government's vision of "One Nation One Standard".

• The National Standards Body Scheme also provides for “Recognition of SDOs”.

BIS has launched this scheme with an aim to consolidate and integrate the existing capabilities and dedicated domain specific expertise that are available with various organizations in India engaged in development of standards in specific areas.

️ RDSO :

RDSO in Lucknow is the only research and design wing of the Ministry of Railways. It is India's leading standard setting body which undertakes standardization work for the railway sector.

What is meant by SDO Recognition?

With the accreditation of SDO (Standard Developing Organization), the standard building processes of RDSO (Research Design & Standards Organization) will become more focused on consensus based decision making. It will comprehensively engage all the stakeholders like industry, academia, testing houses, users, recognized laboratories etc. in the process of making standards from the initial stages. With this tag, competition among industries will increase resulting in cost reduction and quality improvement. It will also reduce import dependency and give a boost to the Make in India initiative.
