4) त्वचा की छटा बदलने और अपने अंडों की सुरक्षा के लिए झाग निकालने जैसे ज्ञात लक्षणों के साथ एक लगभग अज्ञात वृक्ष मेंढक 108 वर्षों के बाद भारत में फिर से उभर आया है।

5) टेक-दिग्गज माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने अपने प्रतिष्ठित इंटरनेट एक्सप्लोरर (आईई) ब्राउज़र को लॉन्च करने के 25 से अधिक वर्षों के बाद 15 जून 2022 से बंद करने का फैसला किया है।

👉 Microsoft अपने उपयोगकर्ताओं को तेज़, अधिक सुरक्षित और अधिक आधुनिक ब्राउज़िंग अनुभव के लिए 15 जून, 2022 से पहले Microsoft Edge (2015) में स्थानांतरित करने की अनुशंसा करता है।

6) एयरलाइन प्रमुख इंडिगो ने घोषणा की कि उसने 310 नए एयरबस परिवार के विमानों के अपने बेड़े को शक्ति देने के लिए CFM इंटरनेशनल 'LEAP-1A' इंजन का चयन किया है, जिसे 2023 से वितरित किया जाएगा।

7) राम-लक्ष्मण की जोड़ी के लक्ष्मण के नाम से मशहूर संगीत निर्देशक विजय पाटिल का निधन हो गया। 

👉 पाटिल ने हास्य दादा कोंडके की मराठी फिल्मों और 'हम आपके है कौन' और 'मैंने प्यार किया' जैसी हिंदी फिल्मों को संगीत प्रदान करने के लिए प्रसिद्धि अर्जित की।  नागपुर में जन्मे और पले-बढ़े पाटिल ने शहर के लोकप्रिय ऑर्केस्ट्रा समूहों में एक गायक और वादक के रूप में शुरुआत की।

8) जब ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में व्यापक प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल प्रदान करने के लिए आयुष्मान भारत कार्यक्रम के तहत स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण केंद्र (HWC) स्थापित करने की बात आती है, तो कर्नाटक पहले स्थान पर है।

10) HSBC India ने अपने कॉर्पोरेट ग्राहकों के लिए डिजिटल बैंकिंग समाधान लॉन्च किया है।

11) 21 मई 2021 को बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने जेजे अस्पताल पैनल की सिफारिश के बाद एक महिला को 24 सप्ताह के गर्भ को समाप्त करने की अनुमति दी।

👉 तीन बच्चों की गर्भवती महिला ने याचिका दायर कर गर्भपात की अनुमति मांगी थी क्योंकि केवल एक भ्रूण स्वस्थ था।

12) सरकार ने आकलन वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए व्यक्तियों के लिए आईटीआर दाखिल करने की नियत तारीख को दो महीने बढ़ाकर 30 सितंबर कर दिया है। केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (CBDT) ने भी कंपनियों के लिए ITR फाइल करने की समय सीमा एक महीने बढ़ाकर 30 नवंबर कर दी है।

13) हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री जय राम ठाकुर ने होम आइसोलेशन के तहत COVID-19 रोगियों के लिए होम आइसोलेशन किट वाले 11 वाहनों को हरी झंडी दिखाई।

14) आईएनएस राजपूत को देश की 41 साल की शानदार सेवा के बाद 21 मई को सेवामुक्त कर दिया गया। 

👉 21 मई को सूर्यास्त समारोह के दौरान राष्ट्रीय ध्वज, नौसेना का पताका और सेवामुक्त करने वाला पन्ना उतारा गया।

15)सिंगापुर के अधिकारियों ने अस्थायी रूप से एक कोविड -19 सांस लेने वाले परीक्षण को मंजूरी दे दी है जिसका उद्देश्य यह दिखाना है कि कोई व्यक्ति एक मिनट के भीतर कोरोनावायरस से संक्रमित है या नहीं।

👉 नशनल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ सिंगापुर (NUS) की एक स्पिन-ऑफ कंपनी, ब्रीथोनिक्स ने कहा कि वह अब स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के साथ मिलकर मलेशिया के साथ शहर-राज्य के सीमा बिंदुओं में से एक पर प्रौद्योगिकी का परिनियोजन परीक्षण चला रही है।

16) झारखंड में कोरोना के मरीज झारखंड के सीएम हेमंत सोरेन द्वारा लॉन्च किए गए 'अमृत वाहिनी' ऐप के जरिए अस्पताल के बेड ऑनलाइन बुक कर सकते हैं।

👉 सोरेन ने 'चैटबोट' भी लॉन्च किया जिसके माध्यम से कोरोनावायरस से संबंधित सभी जानकारी भी प्राप्त की जा सकती है।

👉 'अमृत वाहिनी' ऐप के जरिए राज्य सरकार कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित लोगों को बेहतर सुविधा मुहैया करा सकेगी.

3) Incumbent Narinder Batra of India was re-elected as the International Hockey Federation (FIH) President for a second term after beating Marc Coudron of Belgium by a slender margin of just two votes during the world body's virtual 47th Congress.

👉Batra, who is the also the President of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and an International Olympic Committee (IOC) member, barely managed to pip Coudron, who is the chief of Belgium Hockey Federation and sits on the country's Olympic panel.

4) A virtually unknown treefrog with known traits such as changing skin shade and whipping up foam to protect its eggs has resurfaced in India after 108 years.

👉 The only previous record of this treefrog in India was south of Arunachal Pradesh's Tenga Valley in 1912.

5) Tech-giant Microsoft has decided to retire its iconic Internet Explorer (IE) browser, with effect from 15 June 2022, after more than 25 years of its launch.

👉 Microsoft recommends its users shift to Microsoft Edge (2015) before June 15, 2022, for a faster, more secure and more modern browsing experience.

6) Airline major IndiGo announced that it has selected CFM International 'LEAP-1A' engines to power its fleet of 310 new Airbus family of aircraft which will be delivered from 2023 onwards.

7) Music director Vijay Patil, popularly known as the Laxman of Raam-Laxman duo, passed away. 

👉 Patil earned fame for providing music to comic Dada Kondke’s Marathi films and Hindi movies like ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’ and ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. Patil, born and brought up in Nagpur, started as a singer and instrumentalist in city’s popular orchestra groups.

11) The Bombay High Court on 21 May 2021 allowed a woman to terminate her 24-week pregnancy following the recommendation of a JJ Hospital panel.

👉 The plea was filed by the woman, pregnant with triplets, seeking permission to abort her pregnancy because only one fetus was healthy.

12) The Government has extended the due date of filing ITR for Assessment Year 2021-22 for individuals by two months till September 30. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) also extended the ITR filing deadline for companies by a month till November 30.

13) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur flagged off 11 vehicles containing home isolation kits for COVID-19 patients under home isolation.

👉 The home isolation kits contain ‘chawan prash’, ‘kaada’, protective masks, hand sanitisers, medicines, CM’s message, among others.

15) Singapore authorities have provisionally approved a Covid-19 breathalyser test that aims to show whether someone is infected with the coronavirus in under a minute.

👉 Breathonix, a spin-off company from the National University of Singapore (NUS), said it was now working with the health ministry to run a deployment trial of the technology at one of the city-state's border points with Malaysia.

16) Corona patients in Jharkhand can book hospital beds online through ‘Amrit Vahini’ App launched by Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren.

👉 Soren also launched ‘Chatboat’ through which one may also get all information related to coronavirus.

👉 Through the ‘Amrit Vahini’ App, the state government would be able to provide better facilities for the people infected with coronavirus.
