📌 पोखरण परमाणु विस्फोट दिवस, आज ही के दिन 18 मई 1974 को भारत ने रचा था इतिहास..!!

आज से कई साल पहले 18 मई, 1974 की सुबह आकाशवाणी के दिल्ली केंद्र पर चल रहे फिल्मी गीतों के प्रोग्राम को अचानक ही बीच में रोककर उद्घोषणा हुई कृपया एक महत्त्वपूर्ण प्रसारण की प्रतीक्षा करें। कुछ ही क्षण पश्चात् उद्घोषक का स्वर गूँज उठा। “आज सुबह 8.05 पर पश्चिमी भारत के एक अज्ञात स्थान पर शांतिपूर्ण कार्यों के लिये भारत ने एक भूमिगत परमाणु परीक्षण किया है।”

इस परीक्षण से पाँच दिन पहले 13 मई को परमाणु ऊर्जा आयोग के तत्कालीन अध्यक्ष होमी सेठना की देखरेख में भारत के परमाणु वैज्ञानिकों ने परमाणु डिवाइस को असेंबल करना शुरू किया था और 14 मई की रात डिवाइस को अंग्रेज़ी अक्षर एल की शक्ल में बने शाफ्ट में पहुँचा दिया गया था।

यह था भारत का पहला परमाणु परीक्षण जो थार मरुस्थल में जैसलमेर से 110 कि.मी. दूर पोखरण के निकट बुद्ध पूर्णिमा के दिन 18 मई को निर्जन क्षेत्र में किया गया था। शायद इसीलिये पोखरण-1 को ‘बुद्ध की मुस्कान’ कोड नाम दिया गया था। परीक्षण के लिये पोखरण को इसलिये चुना गया था क्योंकि यहाँ से मानव बस्ती बहुत दूर थी। पोखरण परमाणु विस्फोट दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष '18 मई' को मनाया जाता है।

भारतीय परमाणु आयोग ने पोखरण, राजस्थान में अपना पहला भूमिगत परमाणु परीक्षण 18 मई, 1974 में किया था। इस उपलक्ष्य में प्रत्येक वर्ष ‘पोखरण परमाणु विस्फोट  दिवस’ मनाया जाता है। इसके बाद वर्ष 1998 में भारत ने 11 मई व 13 मई को राजस्थान के पोखरण में परमाणु परीक्षण कर दुनिया को चौंका दिया था।

अचानक किये गए इन परमाणु परीक्षणों से अमेरिका, पाकिस्तान सहित सभी देश अचंभित रह गए थे। पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम की अगुआई में यह मिशन कुछ इस तरह से अंजाम दिया गया कि पूरी दुनिया को इसकी भनक तक नहीं लगी। इससे पहले 1974 में भारत ने अपना पहला परमाणु परीक्षण पोखरण-1 कर दुनिया को भारत की ताकत का लोहा मनवाया था। इसके बाद अंतरराष्ट्रीय जगत में भारत का स्थान और उसकी साख एक मजबूत राष्ट्र के तौर पर उभरी।

📌 Pokhran Nuclear Blast Day, today, on 18 May 1974, India created history .. !!

Many years ago today, on the morning of May 18, 1974, the program of film songs playing at the Delhi Center of All India Radio was abruptly interrupted and please announce an important broadcast. After a few moments the voice of the announcer echoed. "India has conducted an underground nuclear test for peaceful operations at an undisclosed location in western India at 8.05 this morning."

On May 13, five days before this test, nuclear scientists in India, under the supervision of Homi Sethna, the then chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, began assembling the nuclear device and on the night of May 14, the device reached the shaft in the shape of the English letter L. was given.

This was India's first nuclear test, 110 km from Jaisalmer in the Thar Desert. On the day of Buddha Purnima near Pokhran, away on 18 May, it was done in the uninhabited area. Perhaps that's why Pokhran-1 was named the 'Buddha's Smile' code. Pokhran was chosen for the test because the human settlement was far away from here. Pokhran Nuclear Blast Day is observed every year on 18 May.

The Indian Atomic Commission conducted its first underground nuclear test in Pokhran, Rajasthan on 18 May 1974. Pokhran Atomic Explosion Day is celebrated every year on this occasion. After this, in the year 1998, India surprised the world by conducting a nuclear test at Pokhran in Rajasthan on 11 May and 13 May.

All the countries including America, Pakistan were taken aback by these sudden nuclear tests. Former President Dr. A.P.J. This mission, led by Abdul Kalam, was carried out in such a way that the whole world did not even get to know it. Earlier in 1974, India conducted its first nuclear test Pokhran-1, and convinced the world of India's strength. After this, India's place in the international world and its credibility emerged as a strong nation.
