हर साल, विश्व पाचन स्वास्थ्य दिवस (World Digestive Health Day - WDHD) 29 मई को मनाया जाता है। यह विश्व गैस्ट्रोएंटरोलॉजी संगठन (WGO) द्वारा WGO संसथान (WGOF) के सहयोग से आयोजित किया जाता है।  रोग और/या विकार की रोकथाम, व्यापकता, निदान, प्रबंधन और उपचार के बारे में आम जनता में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष यह दिवस एक विशेष पाचन रोग और/या विकार पर केंद्रित होता है।

विश्व पाचन स्वास्थ्य दिवस 2004 में (WGO) विश्व गैस्ट्रोएंटरोलॉजी संगठन के निर्माण की 45 वीं वर्षगांठ को चिह्नित करने के लिए शुरू किया गया था। संगठन के पूरी दुनिया में 100 से अधिक सदस्य समितियां और 50,000 व्यक्तिगत सदस्य हैं।
