एशिया कप 2021 क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता को स्थगित किया गया। 🏏

इस वर्ष एशिया कप 2021 का आयोजन श्रीलंका में जून, 2021 में किया जाना था। परन्तु अब इसे कोविड-19 के चलते स्थगित कर दिया गया है। इससे पहले इस प्रतियोगिता को 2020 में आयोजित किया जाना था, परन्तु कोविड-19 के चलते इस दो बार स्थगित किया जा चुका है।

शुरुआत में इस प्रतियोगिता को पाकिस्तान द्वारा आयोजित किया जाना था, परन्तु सुरक्षा कारणों से यह मेजबानी के अधिकार श्रीलंका को दिए गये थे। गौरतलब है कि कोविड-19 के चलते हाल ही में कई खेल प्रतियोगिताएं को स्थगित किया गया है। आईपीएल को भी बीच में ही रोक दिया गया है।

COVID-19 के कारण एशिया कप 2021 अनिश्चित काल के लिए स्थगित : श्रीलंका में जून में होने वाले एशिया कप T20 टूर्नामेंट को कोविड-19 महामारी के कारण अनिश्चितकाल के लिए स्थगित कर दिया गया है। टूर्नामेंट जो मूल रूप से सितंबर 2020 में श्रीलंका में आयोजित होने वाला था, COVID-19 के कारण जून 2021 के लिए स्थगित कर दिया गया था।

अगले दो वर्षों के लिए अपने फ्यूचर टूर प्रोग्राम्स (FTPs) की योजना बनाने वाली सभी टीमों के साथ, टूर्नामेंट 2023 ICC 50-ओवर के विश्व कप के बाद ही होने की संभावना है।  हालांकि, एशियाई क्रिकेट परिषद की ओर से औपचारिक बयान आना बाकी है। शुरुआत में पाकिस्तान को इसकी मेजबानी करनी थी। हालांकि, भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच तनाव के कारण, टूर्नामेंट को द्वीप राष्ट्र में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया था।

🏆 एशिया कप (Asia Cup) :

यह पुरुषों की क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता है, इसका आयोजन वनडे और टी-20 फॉर्मेट में क्या जाता है। इस प्रतियोगिता की स्थापना 1983 में की गयी थी जब एशियाई क्रिकेट काउंसिल की स्थापना हुई थी। पहली बार एशिया कप का आयोजन 1984 में संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के शारजाह में हुआ था। भारत इस प्रतियोगिता की सबसे सफल टीम है, भारत में सात बार यह खिताब जीता है। इसके बाद श्रीलंका ने 5 खिताब जीते हैं।

This year the Asia Cup 2021 was to be held in June 2021 in Sri Lanka. But now it has been postponed due to Kovid-19. Earlier this competition was to be held in 2020, but due to Kovid-19, it has been postponed twice.

The Asia Cup was first held in 1984 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. India is the most successful team in this competition, having won this title seven times in India. After this Sri Lanka have won 5 titles.
