16 मई - विश्व कृषि-पर्यटन दिवस : 𝚆𝙾𝚁𝙻𝙳 𝙰𝙶𝚁𝙸-𝚃𝙾𝚄𝚁𝙸𝚂𝙼 𝙳𝙰𝚈 - 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟷 

हर साल 16 मई को विश्व कृषि-पर्यटन दिवस (World Agri-Tourism Day) मनाया जाता है। 2021 में, इस दिवस को निम्नलिखित थीम के तहत मनाया जायेगा :

इस वर्ष 2021 का थीम व विषय ➛ “Rural Women Sustainable Entrepreneurship Opportunities through Agri Tourism” (कृषि पर्यटन के माध्यम से ग्रामीण महिला सतत उद्यमिता के अवसर)।

🤔 कषि पर्यटन क्या है? (What is Agri-Tourism?)

कृषि-पर्यटन में शहरी पर्यटक किसानों के घर में रहते हैं। अपने प्रवास के दौरान वे खेती की गतिविधियों, ट्रैक्टर की सवारी, बैलगाड़ी की सवारी में संलग्न होते हैं। इसके अलावा, वे लोक गीतों और नृत्यों का आनंद लेते हैं। वे ताजा कृषि उपज खरीदते हैं।

बदले में, किसान पर्यटकों को आवास प्रदान करते हैं और उनके प्रवास के दौरान उनका मनोरंजन करते हैं। यह किसानों के लिए एक अतिरिक्त आय के रूप में कार्य करता है। साथ ही, यह स्थानीय युवाओं को टूरिस्ट गाइड के रूप में नियुक्त करता है। इस तरह यह कार्यक्रम रोजगार के अवसर भी प्रदान करता है।

कृषि पर्यटन विकास निगम (Agriculture Tourism Development Corporation) के सर्वेक्षण में कहा गया है कि लगभग 0.56 मिलियन पर्यटकों ने कृषि-पर्यटन केंद्रों का दौरा किया। यह 2019 में बढ़कर 0.61 मिलियन और 2020 में 0.78 मिलियन हो गया है।

💢 पष्ठभूमि :

• महाराष्ट्र देश में कृषि-पर्यटन को विकसित और बढ़ावा देने वाला अग्रणी राज्य है।

• सितंबर 2020 में, महाराष्ट्र ने कृषि-पर्यटन नीति (Agro-Tourism policy) पारित की।इसका उद्देश्य पर्यटकों को खेती का आनंद प्रदान करना और किसानों की आय बढ़ाने में मदद करना है।

World Agri-Tourism Day is celebrated every year on 16 May. In 2021, this day will be celebrated under the following theme:

 What is agriculture tourism? (What is Agri-Tourism?)

In agri-tourism, urban tourists live in the homes of farmers. During their stay they engage in farming activities, tractor rides, bullock cart rides. In addition, they enjoy folk songs and dances. They buy fresh agricultural produce.

In return, farmers provide accommodation to tourists and entertain them during their stay. This serves as an additional income for the farmers. Also, it employs local youth as tourist guides. In this way the program also provides employment opportunities.

The survey of the Agricultural Tourism Development Corporation said that about 0.56 million tourists visited the agro-tourism centers. It has increased to 0.61 million in 2019 and 0.78 million in 2020.

• Maharashtra is the leading state to develop and promote agro-tourism in the country.

• In September 2020, Maharashtra passed the Agro-Tourism Policy. It aims to provide tourists with the joy of farming and help increase the income of farmers.
