हर साल 25 अप्रैल को विश्व स्तर पर International Delegate’s Day यानि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतिनिधि दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिवस संयुक्त राष्ट्र में सदस्य राष्ट्रों के प्रतिनिधियों की भूमिका के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए मनाया जाता है।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतिनिधि दिवस, सैन फ्रांसिस्को में हुए सम्मेलन के  पहले दिन की वर्षगांठ को चिह्नित कने के लिए मनाया जाता है जिसे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठन पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र के सम्मेलन के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। इस वर्ष सैन फ्रांसिस्को सम्मेलन की 75 वीं वर्षगांठ है।

⌛️ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतिनिधि दिवस का इतिहास :

सैन फ्रांसिस्को में 25 अप्रैल 1945 को पहली बार 50 देशों के प्रतिनिधि इकठ्ठा हुए थे। यह सम्मेलन द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध की तबाही के बाद आयोजित किया गया था। जिसका उद्देश्य प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा एक संगठन स्थापित करना था, जो विश्व में शांति बहाल करे और युद्ध के बाद के विश्व व्यवस्था पर नियम निर्धारित करे। संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा (UNGA) ने 2 अप्रैल 2019 को, दुनिया भर में 25 अप्रैल को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतिनिधि दिवस के रूप में मनाए जाने के लिए घोषित किया था।

International Delegation Day is celebrated to mark the anniversary of the first day of the conference in San Francisco, also known as the United Nations Conference on International Organization. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the San Francisco Conference.

 History of International Representative Day:

Representatives from 50 countries gathered for the first time on April 25, 1945 in San Francisco. This conference was held after the devastation of World War II. The purpose of which was to establish an organization by the delegates, which would restore peace in the world and set rules on the post-war world order. On 2 April 2019, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) declared 25 April to be observed as International Representative Day across the world.
