✅ नई दिल्ली दुनिया का सबसे प्रदूषित राजधानी शहर है – IQAir

स्विस समूह “IQAir” जो कि पीएम 2.5 नामक फेफड़ों को नुकसान पहुंचाने वाले हवाई कणों की एकाग्रता के आधार पर वायु गुणवत्ता के स्तर को मापता है, ने अपनी “2020 World Air Quality Report” प्रस्तुत की है। इस रिपोर्ट के अनुसार भारत की राजधानी नई दिल्ली वर्ष 2020 में लगातार तीसरे वर्ष के लिए दुनिया भर में सबसे प्रदूषित राजधानी है।

इस रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि, भारत में दुनिया के 50 सबसे प्रदूषित शहरों में से 35 प्रदूषित शहर हैं। IQAir अध्ययन ने 106 देशों में डेटा एकत्र करके रिपोर्ट तैयार की है। इस रिपोर्ट के निष्कर्ष पीएम 2.5 के पार्टिकुलेट मैटर के सालाना औसत और 2.5 माइक्रोन से कम व्यास वाले एयरबोर्न कणों पर आधारित है। PM2.5 के लंबे समय तक संपर्क में रहने से कैंसर और हृदय संबंधी समस्याएं जैसी घातक बीमारियां होती हैं।

इस रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि, वर्ष 2020 में, नई दिल्ली के PM2.5 की औसत वार्षिक सांद्रता 84.1 घन मीटर थी। यह आंकड़ा बीजिंग में 2020 में 37.5 के औसत के मुकाबले दोगुने से अधिक था। इस प्रकार, यह दुनिया भर में 14वां सबसे प्रदूषित शहर था। ग्रीनपीस के दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया विश्लेषण और IQAir द्वारा किए गए अध्ययन में कहा गया है कि, वायु प्रदूषण के परिणामस्वरूप वर्ष 2020 में नई दिल्ली में अनुमानित 54,000 समय से पहले मौतें हुईं। इस रिपोर्ट में आगे कहा गया है कि, कोविड-19 लॉकडाउन में वार्षिक औसत पीएम 2.5 के स्तर में 11% की कमी हुई थी। उसके बावजूद, भारत दुनिया का तीसरा सबसे प्रदूषित देश बन गया। शीर्ष प्रदूषित देशों में बांग्लादेश और पाकिस्तान शामिल हैं।

✅ New Delhi is the most polluted capital city in the world - IQAir

 The Swiss group "IQAir" which measures air quality levels based on the concentration of airborne particles that cause lung damage, called PM2.5, has presented its "2020 World Air Quality Report".  According to this report, New Delhi, the capital of India, is the most polluted capital in the world for the third consecutive year in the year 2020.

 ▪️ Key Points:

 This report states that India has 35 of the 50 most polluted cities in the world.  The IQAir study has collected data in 106 countries and produced reports.  The findings of this report are based on the yearly average of PM2.5 particulate matter and airborne particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 μm.  Prolonged exposure to PM2.5 leads to fatal diseases such as cancer and heart problems.

 📛 MAIN CONCLUSION:

 This report states that, in the year 2020, the average annual concentration of PM2.5 in New Delhi was 84.1 cubic meters.  This figure was more than double the average for 37.5 in Beijing in 2020.  Thus, it was the 14th most polluted city worldwide.  The study conducted by Greenpeace's South East Asia Analysis and IQAir states that, in the year 2020, an estimated 54,000 premature deaths occurred in New Delhi as a result of air pollution.  This report further states that, the Kovid-19 lockdown had an 11% decrease in annual average PM2.5 levels.  Despite that, India became the third most polluted country in the world.  The top polluted countries include Bangladesh and Pakistan.
